Ava Lynn Summers

Born August 23rd at 3:16pm
7lbs 5 ounces and 21 inches

Labor was okay but very different compared to what I experienced with Emma . We are all doing well adjusting to our new family. Kyle was on maternity leave last week (what a lifesaver that is living away from family) so this is my first week on my own. I think I am doing well so far no major melt downs. Sorry this post is so late but I will try to keep it updated.

Lindy, she's adorable!! and she was born before your induction, wasn't she?! How's Emma around her?

Nice photos. I'm glad you are all doing better. Sounds like you had a stressful week. I should have called to tell you that Clin's sister, Emily, had a similar thing with her 2nd. She had the blood that counteracted (because mom and dad's blood were different types) and then she also had jaundice. They had to return to hospital and do all the heat lamps as well.

Glad that it turned out ok and now you can settle into trying to sleep.

happy travels this weekend!

What a cutie! Ya you are so lucky your husband got maternity leave! I live near my parents and in-laws and I had a hard enough time with just one.
